In a television interview this week, Congresswoman Abby Finkenauer dodged a question on position on packing the supreme court. When the reporter from CBS2 asked her what she would do about adding seats to the nation’s highest court, Finkenauer punts.

Finkenauer’s non-answer mirrors that of her party’s leadership. This week both Joe Biden and his presidential running mate Kamala Harris would not share their position on the issue.

“Biden says he’ll reveal position on court-packing ‘when the election is over‘” and Harris refused to answer a direct question about the court during the recent VicePresident debate.
Finkenauer is in a tight battle to hold her seat against Republican Ashley Hinson. The race is rated “toss-up” by the Cook Political Report.
