Congresswoman Ashely Hinson is seeing a wave of encouragement and endorsements after announcing she would seek reelection to Congress. Iowans across the new second district were quick to sign on not only as supporters but also praise Hinson’s time in Congress as she began her 2022 campaign.

Hinson who first ran for congress in 2020 in the old first district, serves on the House Budget and Appropriations Committees. Hinson has proved to be a powerful fundraiser breaking Iowa off-year Iowa fundraising records in the second and third quarters this year. In 2020, she flipped her district from blue to red after defeating one-term congresswoman Abby Finkenauer.
